Thanks for the comment. I think your mood is shared by many people, myself included to a degree. It's a great team now, and an improvement for sure, but we've still to see how things pan out in the next elections.

But it is excellent to see the constitution working exactly as it should.

Send your suggestions along, and I'll be sure to ... mention them next time I see her! Which may not be that soon -- she is, I think, really busy right now.

Guess since no one's broken in on this yet, I'll have a go.

First off, interesting times indeed. The jury's still out on the efficacy with which recent affairs have been conducted, in my humble opinion. On the one side, we know our constitution works to keep the balances of power in check, as the ousting of the president has shown. Still, I have to wonder at the negative complexities in which SA politics have been mired these last few years. Suffice to say, I'm now hopeful yet dubious, whereas I was once optimistic.

Secondly, I'd like to wish Ms. Hogan the best of luck with what I concede to be the most difficult portfolio for a minister in SA. Granted, comparing her to her predecessor automatically puts her in a positive light, but I believe that real and effective change is way overdue in our poor health system.

Finally...Paul, since I have a few suggestions from past experience in the health sector, would you mind just passing them along for me? :)

Regards,
