Well, our house is on top of a hill, near some huge iron poles left over from radio systems of many years ago. So lightning frequently comes by, and fries stuff, either over the power lines or the telephone lines. It's quite annoying, because whenever a thunderstorm comes by, we have to unplug all the computers and modems. But at least it's atmospheric!

Wow! Thunder that fries your computer. That is one heck of a shock wave.

Ah, yes, the thunder. Great right until it fries your computer. Or trips the power just before you save your work. But otherwise great!

Thanks for visiting the site, and good luck for your exams!

Should've seen and heard the Highveld thunderstorm we had last night. I got such a fright at one extremely loud and over zealous crack of thunder that I dropped my pen and almost fell off my chair. No jokes! hehe

Thanks!

I must say that it's seldom I appreciate the rain, I'm normally a hotter-the-better type of person -- no need to worry about taking a sweater along, or commenting on the weather, it's exactly what you expected.

The exception being while working, then a little aircon is great!

So poetic. Very nice post. We might as well enjoy the rain while we have it, for a couple of reasons, not the least of which is we have no choice. Also, wait until the heat of the summer comes around. In late August, we'll be begging for this weather.
